Chemo treatment #1 -- this time

Let me answer a question that seems to be hovering out there. Did I make a mistake last June by stopping the chemo treatments?? The definitive answer is that only God knows for sure. Medically the doctors can't really answer the question. On the one hand it appears that last years chemo was the wrong chemical concoction at too strong a dosage. On the other hand the cancer is back. Suffice it to say that Pam & I were confident it was the right decision at the time. I can also say with all confidence that wrestling with the past does no good. We are moving on... I expect this time to be a whole lot more successful with the group I'm working with this year.

Friday was a long day. The first dosage is larger and takes longer. So I was at the cancer center for over 6 hours. Next Friday will take about 3 hours and the Friday after that about 5. And that will be the pattern until the next P.E.T. CT scan and surgery. So far I've had no nasty side effects.

Pam is watching Maddie for Jim & LiaAnn. She is starting to coo along when Pam sings. It is so cute. Here is a picture of 'Cutie and the Beast'.

Well, it's obvious where Maddie gets her big eyes from! Hang in there, Jim and Pam!
