Detour

I have never been on a roller coaster with a detour on the first hill but I just lived one. Friday morning I was up at 3:00 a.m. paying way too much attention to the toilet. By noon I had performed several blessings on said porcelain device and had a fever of 101 point something. For some reason the cancer center didn't think starting chemo was a good idea. Trust me, I would rather have had a double dose of chemo. So everything has been pushed back a week. Oh, but that's not all. Sunday morning I was up again at 2:00 a.m. It was like a final blow. So I really was too sick for chemo.
Pam, by the way, is a perfect nurse and I am a lousy patient. I don’t think too many of you are surprised by that…..
I'm not sure why the detour and why on the first hill but I am sure that God's timing is perfect. So as of right now Chemo is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Friday.

God is good all the time!!
