I'm gettin' tired of tellin' ya............

Last year Pam had uterine cancer. After major surgery, removal of certain parts, they said they had gotten all of the cancer. During Pam's recovery I had to tell her numerous times, "you had major surgery it is going to take time to get your strength back".
Today Pam said to me, "I'm gettin' tired of telling you. You have had major surgery it is going to take time to get your strength back." She keeps saying that I told her the same thing last year. Frankly, I don't remember saying anything like that..........:O)
I thought that I was almost there. I even called Karen at work to see if there were any schmuck jobs available for a cancer patient. But surgery number 2 knocked me down further than I expected. It is frustrating waiting for endurance -- -- of any kind. Today we went to see 'Horton Hears a Who'. We were sitting in a theatre and when the movie was over I was ready for a nap. Ugh. I am tired of being tired. I'm also tired of people telling me it's going to take time. I know it's going to take time -- -- -- -- I just wish it would hurry up!! ;O)
(By the way, it was at the new Hamilton 16. Pretty nice,,,,,so far.) Horton was cute. Not $7.50 per person cute but it was cute.
We got some good news this morning. I'm a great uncle again. Congratulations Dave & Sara!!!!
Also, and this is really exciting, Pam & I are going to be grandparents. Jim & LiaAnn are expecting in October. An excellent month if I do say so myself.
Ps 127:3-5 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them!
