I must start this post with once again thanking all of the folks at Indy Center who donated sick leave to help me through this adventure. Your generosity is humbling and I cannot adequately express my appreciation. Thank you very much!!! Your gift has given me time to pray, plan and heal. And even though Mastercard has abused it, your gift is priceless.
But this healing process will take until at least November (and probably longer). I have decided to hang it up. I am taking in my Air Traffic Control shingle and retiring on May 1st.
It was good to see a few of you today. I was at ZID to turn in my retirement 'application' and turn in my application to WCG. Rick Garwood, who has been through this cancer thing twice, is offering me a flexibility that was hard to say 'no' to. So I will, hopefully, be seeing several of you as I put in time with the 'Walker & Cane Group'.
My journey to Indy Center wore me out. But it was good to see everyone.
Thank you all it has been quite a ride.
Ps 116:8-9 For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling; I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.
God is good all the time!

Hello Jim,
I am sorry I missed you at work the other day. I want you to know I am praying for you and your family daily. It seems you are living with a saint...stay strong and accept some of her strength, for the Lord has given you yet another great gift of companionship during your time of cross bearing.
I will continue to pray for you, if there is anything else you need, PLEASE give me a call, I'd love to help.
Peace.
