We are still celebrating the good numbers from the last check-up but I thought that some of you might be curious about what's next.
The standard American medical approach to post chemo treatment is a very methodical and very cautious program. Pam had cancer in 2007. She had to have surgery but did no chemo or radiation. She still does a twice a year check-up with the oncologists.
Right now I go in once a month just to make sure that the port remains accessible. Then I see the oncologist every 3 months. Before the next oncology appointment I have to do another blood draw and a traceable CT scan. All of that will happen toward the end of October.
Just like in the middle of 'it' we will take it a day at a time.
God is good all the time!!
