Pam was counting the other day and said that since March of 2008 I had been under general anesthesia at least 8 times. Hopefully we are done with any more surgeries. Last Thursday, Dr. Berfhoff went in to look at the mass. It was too large to remove it through one of the laparoscopic incisions so he had to make about a 4 inch cut. So for the first few days afterwards when ever I was asked how I felt I said, "like I've been cut". It has taken most of the week to get to a point where I don't need pain pills. Percocet this time around. But this too shall pass...
But the good news is that there was no cancer in the mass. NO CANCER!! PRAISE GOD!!! High fives, Praise God and hugs all around. We finally feel like there might be an end in sight.
And now -- -- -- on to a wedding.
God is good all the time!!
