Life

I did it again. I have waited too long to post and now I have more to say than should be allowed in one post. So I will try and edit myself and keep this to a reasonable length.
The side-effects continue, hands and feet split bleeding and painful. The rash on the upper half of my body is still there and the fatigue shows its ugly head once in a while but, thankfully, not as often as before. I'm still taking 4 pills a day to keep other things in control.

A friend asked me yesterday why I chose to go through the surgeries and all the chemo treatments. After all, I have a hope and a faith that what lies beyond this life is far better. The short, Reader's Digest, answer is that life is a gift from God and I have a responsibility to be a good steward of this gift. But just as important to me is Pam. As long as I have a choice I will choose to stay with her. So where there is a choice it is Jesus first and Pam a very close second. Given the choice of not going through the medical treatments and dying (a painful death) or enduring the medical to stay with my wife was a no brainer.

God is good all the time!!

That is the most profound thing I have ever read about the reason for living, rather than taking the easy way out. Thank you!!!
