Then there is my brother-in-law, David Snowdon, who began his service in Vietnam. He continued his service with a couple of different branches in the Guard. He will retire in the next year or two and has been serving for the last several years as a Navy Chaplain. Here is a picture of him with my little brother. Dave is on the left and Dan is on the right.
That brings us to Daniel Edward Ellis my younger brother. Dan has been in the Air Force for over 20 years. He began his service as a Weapon Systems Specialist on different aircraft and after a few years moved into the computer end of the Air Force. Today he is stationed at NATO headquarters in Belgium.
Which brings us to our son, James Christopher Ellis. We are very proud of Jim. He served in the Air Force as an Intelligence Specialist. (I could tell you exactly what he did but then I'd have to kill you.:O) He spent several months in Korea but most of his time was spent at Holoman Air Force Base in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He left the Air Force last May and we are pleased that Jim & LiaAnn & Maddie (grandbaby #1) live much closer than New Mexico.
We are very proud of every one of the Veterans in our family. They chose to take part of their lives to serve their country and, therefore, to serve us. They deserve our honor and our appreciation. THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for your commitment and for your service.
