Giving Thanks

We took time at church, this morning, for a time of thanksgiving and prayer. In spite of what different forms of media are trying to sell, God is there and He is involved in the details. I am thankful that my health is continuing to improve. My endurance is not quite all the way back but I'm getting closer. When I come home from work I'm pretty tired but I am able to get things done on the weekends. It feels so good to be able to do (whatever) and to be able to finish what I start. I see the ColoRectal Surgeon this week for, hopefully, the last time. It is a 2 month followup to the October 1st surgery. And it's time to get another blood test which I will aim to do this week as well.

All of the kids were home for Thanksgiving and it was really good to have them all together. But the most special was to have our grandbaby here -- -- -- she is so cute.

We deep fried a turkey for the first time and it was really good. But we have so many good cooks in this family any special occasion is truely a feast fit for a king.

Take a look at that cute smile and those bright eyes -- -- -- -- >>>>>>
And you can agree with me when I say that God is good All the time!!

Lamentations 3:22-23 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. ESV

Jim and Pam, Maddie is so precious. I was just looking at my grandchildrens pics last night and it amazes me how quickly they change and grow. Children and grandchildren are truly a wonderful gift from our heavenly Father. Thanks for sharing Leslie Lauman
