One of my oldest and dearest friends was vacationing in Baltimore when he took a tumble down a flight of stairs. Right now he is in Johns Hopkins Hospital with a broken leg. So much for the vacation. His leg broke right below the knee and they are planning surgery for Friday the 26th of September. Would you please pray for Doug?!?!? Pray that the surgeons are better than normal and that the leg will heal better than normal.
My 'backside' surgery is on October 1st and I would appreciate the same prayer. That is that the surgeon would be better than normal and that everything would heal better than normal
Our 'Small Group' started up last night. Good group. I firmly believe that everyone needs a circle of friends for encouragement and accountability. Deuteronomy 11:1 You shall therefore love the Lord your God and keep his charge, his statutes, his rules, and his commandments always.ESV If we are going to walk out this kind of commitment to Christ we need friends who will encourage us and hold us accountable to His call.
