We went to see Ironman today. It's fairly graphic in its violence but a pretty good 'comic book' movie. One of the lines in the movie is, "I want a cheeseburger, an American cheeseburger".
Well when we got out of the movie it was supper time and so we picked up a cheeseburger.
An American Steakhouse cheeseburger.
I have never claimed to be the sharpest knife in the drawer and so to prove it we get a cheeseburger. Which probably wouldn't be a problem if not for the Chemo and for the small fact that I was on anti-nausea medicine all day Saturday. So here I sit sucking down more anti-nausea pills and wondering how many different ways there is to spell braindamaged. Which probably isn't fair to the brain damaged so maybe I should be wondering about the spelling for moron.
But at least the pill seems to be working. So once again, I have never claimed to be the sharpest knife in the drawer. But 'common sense' would seem to lead to the conclusion that greasy foods and Chemo don't mix.
Proverbs 16:22 Good sense is a fountain of life to him who has it, but the instruction of fools is folly.ESV

JD - This is Roland - Here's rootin' for you. Your family and you are in my prayers.
God Bless!
Pregnancy book tells me that fatty and fried foods, mint and caffeine(which can irritate reflux and cause vomiting, a testament I can hold to today), spicy and savory foods can mess with already nauseous bellies. As tasteless and icky as it seems, if you're nauseous all day one day, I'd stick to clear fluids and bland foods the next day. Love you, Dad.
