It has been interesting to see the different 'coincidences' as the adventure has progressed.
People have been praying and sending scriptures. One of the ones that keeps showing up is Psalms 61. Read it below and note that a small coincidence is that the surgical group was called Tower Surgical.
Right now I am having to be patient. My body wants me to take it easy but my brain wants me to get up and do..... I'm not supposed to pick up anything heavier than 10 pounds for another week. I made a sandwich yesterday that was almost 10 pounds. :O)
I've had a lot of time to think. So answer these questions ---- carefully:
What do you do with Jesus??
What is His position in your life??
Really??
God is good all the time!!

Ps 61
Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I, for you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.
Let me dwell in your tent forever!Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings! For you, O God, have heard my vows; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
Prolong the life of the king; may his years endure to all generations! May he be enthroned forever before God; appoint steadfast love and faithfulness to watch over him!
So will I ever sing praises to your name,as I perform my vows day after day.

Interesting, Ps. 61 is one of the first choruses that I learned in 1980 at a "life group" type setting. Now--lots of years later I'm reflecting on it and how the meaning has changed as I've gotten older and weathered a few storms myself. I love thinking of our Lord as a ROCK. To me that has me visualizing stability and strength which I love about the Lord.
You asked in your question where you place the Lord in your life. I have to be honest...when I'm down, he rates high, when I'm up, he rates down. Every crisis when I cry out to Him I promise it won't be that way again...I'll always keep him as a high priority not just when it's an emergency. Then that wears off, and it's back to usual. Just like a spoiled child, I'm only calling out to Him when I need Him. I WILL work on that this week! Thanks for making me think.
Jim and Pam, our prayers go out to you during this storm. May it be a short one and may the sun come out and reveal a beautiful rainbow...God's promise!
love you guys,
deb bieberich
