A vacation from hair.

My hair had done such a good job at falling out that I gave up and buzzed off what was left. And it wasn't much. I left the mustache, just for grins, but it won't last very long.
So I haven't had chemo in eleven days but the fatigue is still a difficult animal to corral. I got up the gumption to make my own breakfast yesterday and half way through the fatigue hit like a train wreck. I finished breakfast but felt mule kicked the rest of the day.

We have to be at Methodist Hospital at 6:00 a.m. on the 16th. Surgery is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. They said that they plan on at least 3 hours for this surgery. The odd thing is that this will be the most invasive surgery that I have ever had and yet I have to do nothing special to get ready. No special diet, no cleansing, just show up and smile.

God is good all the time!!

We'd love to stop by and see you guys! Hair is overrated - just ask Kenney!! We'll definitely keep you in our prayers as your surgery date approaches!

We're praying and praying and praying. And I agree with the hair comment - baldness is great! I thought the verse you added was fantasic though. We would stop by but we're definitely not a healthy bunch right now. So we'll just keep praying. Much love to you both. - Laura White
