So many people have called me 'grumpy' that I am beginning to believe it, they can't all be wrong. So if I have grumped in your direction I apologize. I don't mean to be grumpy but I guess I have let the Chemo get the better of me. There's another thing that I didn't want to happen -- the Chemo getting the better of me. My life is pretty much nausea and fatigue 24/7. And I know that the longer the nausea goes on the less fun I tend to be. What happens is we (me) gets sucked into thinking about self and the more we think of self the less we consider God. And God is the only one who can pull us out of ourselves and give us a bigger perspective. I'll keep working on it and, for now, you can call me 'God's grumpy old man'. :O)
After my last post I had a really bad week of fatigue and nausea. So I didn't real feel up to posting. Then we were without internet service for a week. AT&T DSL service promised to overnight a modem which we finally got one week later. This is our third modem. AT&T insists on using Motorola modems which keep burning out. So read between the lines. A good friend of mine has Verizon DSL and has never had a problem. "I'm just sayin' ".......
By the way, just because I may be grumpy does not change the fact that God is good all the time. God's character does not depend on me. And if you catch me in a moment of grumps it does not change my belief in God either. Or in the Goodness of God. Regardless of how I may be dealing with my situation -----GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!
