This week is like "deja vu all over again". I started back to work where I worked for 25+ years. But now I work for the government contractor as an instructor. It is interesting how tiring 8 and 1/2 hours, in a row, can be. But I take a rest when I get home. I should be 'checked out' on lecturing by the end of the week. Which in government terms means that I will be able to take a fairly interesting subject and present it in such a way as to bore the pigment out of paint.
The plan is to work through Friday then take Monday - Wednesday off for Chemo and try to work the following Thursday and Friday. This will be my every two week rotation until the Chemo treatments are done. Hopefully, I will be of some use the Thursday and Friday after they remove the pump.
All of you Indianapolis Center types can look forward to a boring briefing coming to a conference room near you.
I still hate Chemo but God is good all the time!!

I'm sure it's close to the same certification I had to go through. I agree...it takes a cool subject and makes it even boring for even the biggest nerds.

I have thought of you both so much of late. It seems, JD, that I wasn't able to spend enough time with you that one afternoon about a week ago. I have prayed for you and I continue to pray for you...in three different churches I might add, as we browse the more immediate area. We are members of CCC downtown and I don't like taking that trip with just me and the kids on Sundays, so we have checked out Monrovia Christian, St. Mark's in Plainfield and Kingsway Christian in Avon. Anyways, they all have you in our prayer requests. I have spoken about you and Pam to my family. You inspire me. We wish you well while we take our family vacation to the USVI!
