We visited a former fellowship yesterday. It was good to see Christian family members. An old friend of ours, Pam says, 'A long time friend' but Kim qualifies as an old friend. (Hey Kim, :OÞ:: :: :: :O) Kim was sharing her story at Genesis Church and we went to hear and support her. I was speechless, and that doesn't happen often, when we met the new pastor and he said, "I just read your blog this morning". We had a wonderful time catching up, hearing Kim's story and being prayed for. We aren't at Genesis anymore but they are still family. If you are looking for a good fellowship of Christians check out www.Genesisonline.org.
Then an old friend called to see if I would mind if he (read his wife) called a bunch of our old 'small group' to get together and pray for me. So we got together last night, caught up with each other and prayed together --- for me. We have known each other for over 25 years, we now come from 7 different churches but we are still family. We met in small group fellowships 20 some years ago at Northview Christian Life and have kept that connection even though most of us are no longer at Northview. The focus, the connection, the common goal is Jesus. Jesus is what matters. Not the brick, the roof or the name on the door. And that's the way it ought to be...
Thanks for your prayers and please keep on.

1 Corinthians 10:16-17 The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body , for we all partake of the one bread.ESV
