Washing delicates.

In a man's world there would be no 'delicate' cycle on the washing machine. There wouldn't be a need. The 'delicates' would go in with the regular underwear -- no need to segregate. Delicates aren't that special. They are just fancy underwear. So why do they need their own cycle. And you might as well throw the khakis and tans in because they're close to the same color. Fewer loads save money and energy therefore (in today's buzz word) fewer loads would be the 'green' thing to do. Showing that, unlike the message being sent by television's soaps and sit-coms, being a man can be very positive, progressive and good. :O)

I saw the ColoRectal Surgeon today and trying to report what we discussed in a public forum is a bit delicate. They did two tests. A transrectal ultrasound and a manometry. I will not be describing them here but you are welcome to look them up on the internet if you dare. (I'd be very careful Googling the first one.) One of the tests was very encouraging and the other was part good and part kinda iffy. That is the official medical term 'kinda iffy'. We were left with 2 options. One not worth talking about and the other surgery. Surgery is scheduled for October 1st. Those of you who are reading and have followed this 'adventure' would you please pray that everything comes out the way that it needs to for normal control. Control would be the main question and issue. And that is as far as I will go with that delicate issue...............


Here is a picture of the crew from Christmas. (You know I must be feeling better if I've taken the time to figure out how to put a picture in the blog:O) Some things have changed since Christmas. I am 40 pounds lighter and LiaAnn is a tad bit, uh, well she is not skinny. She is tiny but with child. And we are excitedly waiting for Madison Rachel's coming out party in October. Grandma (Oct. 15), Grandpa (Oct. 21), and mom (Oct. 26) all think that October is a dandy month for a birthday.
