Cold water

Pam & I played hooky from the diet and went to Monical's Pizza for a thin crust pepperoni & mushroom. It was wonderful!! We both had water to drink. Very cold ice water. It has been the better part of 4 months since I have been able to drink anything with ice. It sure was good to have ice water. One of the drugs they gave me in Chemo made anything cold almost unbearable. I couldn't touch anything cold and I couldn't drink anything cold. So it was good to have a couple glasses of ice water.

Next Friday the 'Port-a-cath' comes out. Hopefully that will be the last surgery for a good long time.

Let me take just a minute to say how proud I am of our children (adults actually). Jim, Anna and Josh are all good people. They are all unapologetic followers of Christ. When each one takes on a job or a task they leave it better than when they arrived. Jim and Josh both married wonderful women of God and we are proud to have them both as part of the family.
Our children are a blessing.
