Smokin' Fishers............

Put the Fishers Fire Department on alert I'm draggin' out the smoker.
There have been several things that have gotten in the way of firing up the smoker. First, it was too stinking cold. Then there was that nagging abdominal pain followed by the x-ray, Cat-scan and 'butt cam'. To be followed shortly by surgery #1, surgery #2 and surgery #3. Chemo has tried its best to get in the way, but with the help of my oldest and dearest friends I will be draggin' out 'Dorothy' this Saturday. (For the uninitiated - Dorothy is the smoker.
Think Wizard of Oz.)
If everything falls into place, we will have two smokers going at the same time. One with assorted tasty morsels and one with a whole hog. No, this is not an invitation!! This is for practice. And it is a sign that things are getting back to something in the vicinity of normal.

Bless God, I could use a little bit of normal.
