In an effort to help our Pastor and his wife we volunteered to watch their kids on Wednesday so Laura could run some errands. Brian and Laura have 4 children 5 and under. In our younger days, we had 3 children 3 and under. So we figured this would be good refresher training for Grandparents-to-be. Brian and Laura's 4 are really great kids but they do have one thing that we seem to lack -- -- -- ENERGY. Continuous ongoing never ending energy. The old 'if we could bottle it we'd make millions' energy. But we really had fun. We both had to take a nap when we got home but we had fun.
We are looking forward to October. We'll have to practice some more. This whole grandparent thing may take more energy than we were planning on.
